I am trying to switch from windows to mac. I have been using PC for years and am very used to the home key moving the cursor to the beginning of the current line and the end key moving o the end of the current line.

I have found that on a mac, I have to use Cmd+left arrow and cmd+right arrow to mimic this behavior.

It may seem minor but this slows me down quite a bit.

I have tried using doublecommand and enabling the "PC Style Home and End Keys" option but that didnt seem to work.

I also tried creating a DefaultKeyBinding.dict file as described here. and that didnt work either.

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this? This is one of the few remaining humps that I have to get over in order to get completely switched over to my mac.

Hey thanks for posting that - it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for but like doubleCommand, i found the setting for PC style Home and End Keys and it didn't seem to do anything.

Now with that said, I am currently remoting in to my mac via logmein.com. I don't know if that matters. I haven't tried it while physically sitting in front of my mac.

Has anyone had any experience with this?
