Is it possible for an iPod to remember where you left off in one playlist when you switch to another playlist and then back? For example, I have one list almost 1,000 songs long, and if I switch away from it I'd like to be able to pick up where it left off when I switch back. It is rather tedious to scroll through the whole list to find where I was.

It may not be so much switching from one playlist to another, but say I've listened to the radio on my Nano for a bit, then want to go back to the playlist.

So, is this even possible? I have a 5th gen nano and 3rd gen nano as well as an iPhone 3G. Can any of them perform this feat?
