Am I too stupid or is it really a bug? I have 2 reminders which are repeating once a week. Until January. When I get the reminder for it for this week, I mark it as done for the day, but it is also marked as done for the next weeks too. Why?

And why I still see the reminder, which I’ve marked as done, on the Watch, Mac and iPad as not done? I don’t get it.

I can’t talk for Watch or Mac as I don’t own them, but I have an iPhone and iPad. Marking a reminder complete - or making any changes for that matter - on one device takes about a minute to sync to the other device.

I have a couple of recurring reminders and it doesn’t mark the next one as complete on mine.

Ugh. Just had a weekly reminder again. When I’m marking it as done for today it’s always marked forever. Don’t know what to do

I can’t say it’s happening to me. I’ve done two tests today; whether I long press on the notification and mark it as complete, or go into the app and mark it as complete, only today’s are the ones marked as complete (see screenshot).

Are you using the new upgraded reminders app on iOS13, or did you opt to stick with the iOS12 style reminders app? (I’m using the upgraded iOS13 reminders app.)

Are you using the same across all devices (for macOS I think the upgraded reminders is only available on Catalina)? If not, it could be an issue with using newer and older versions of reminders across devices?

What device did you initially set the recurring reminders up on?
What operating system did you initially set the recurring reminders up on?

If you set them up on iOS12 and you’ve carried them over on updating to iOS13, maybe if you delete them completely and set up as new weekly recurring reminders it might resolve your issue.

If you set them up on your Mac, maybe if you delete them completely and set up on your iPhone or iPad as new weekly recurring reminders it might resolve your issue.

Or you could try deleting them completely and set up on your iPhone or iPad regardless.

Sorry. I gave it up. I’ve done everything but didn’t work. iOS 13 makes a lot of problems and Apple doesn’t even care. Switched to Microsoft To Do now
