How do I access settings in the Reminders app? I accidentally told Reminders to let me choose an address from my address book rather than typing an address in for location-based reminders.

Thank you.

I don't think that you can type in an address for location-based reminders. I believe you have to select a location from your address book.

A number of people in other threads have noted this as an issue and I have to agree.

The "workaround", if you can call it that, is to locate the location you want on the Maps app, add it to your address book, and then select that newly added location from within the Reminders app.

Thanks for your reply. I did some more searching and found other posts expressing what you noted. It's hard to believe Apple would make the location-based reminders more complicated than it needs to be, especially given Apple's knack for keeping things simple and user-friendly. The location-based reminders is a good feature and will be made all the better once Apple (hopefully) takes care of this issue.
