I've been having a NIGHTMARE with reminders.

Ones which have been completed, or which have the due date changed, are reverting back to their previous state after about 5 minutes.

This issue appears to specifically affect reminders which have a due date, ones without don't appear to be affected (though it's more obvious if they have the due date as the badge count keeps coming back!)

========

When the reminder due date is changed, or the reminder with a due date is completed, it's updated on all other devices, so not sure what's causing it to revert back..

All reminders are using iCloud

Strangely I'm aware I'm not the only one getting this issue (one of my colleagues is), but can;t see this issue reported by anyone on this forum..

So..
- anyone else getting this issue?
- any tips for resolving it? (besides changing to another app, I like using Siri to set reminders )

It happens to me too. What I think is actually happening is this, at least in my case:

1. I modify reminder on iPhone to be a different date/time than it was originally.
2. Change does not sync to iPad and MacBook Pro.
3. Original Date/time of reminder on iPad/MacBook Pro syncs back to iPhone.
4. iPhone notification appears at original date/time like the whole thing never happened.
5. I get frustrated and try to adjust the date/time again.

...and repeat.

I actually don't think it's a bug with Reminders, but just iCloud/iOS syncing being extremely unreliable/delayed like it has been since iOS7.

I think you're right about something "keeping it open" - but just can't figure out what!!

I guess the next step is to change a date, and check it on ALL devices, including laptop and iCloud.com

Strangely I think it might be an issue with changing multiple reminders at the same time which have due dates?

Reminders without due dates sync fine, and I think if I only change due date on one in a day it seems to work..

I also experience this bug occasionally. The weird thing is that it not always happens. Just for a couple of days and then everything is fine again for a while. Have tried deleting the offending reminder and disabling and re-enabling reminders on the iCloud settings to no avail.

Same as "comics addict": occassionally.

Where I see it is when creating a new reminder. I use Fantastical. When you create a Reminder there, it creates a Reminder without a date/time set (and the other fields, just the text portion). Set the date and list I want it in, sets list OK, date/time flip back to unset.

Not every event created, not every day, just occasionally. Have not seen this happen with existing Reminders.

If you haven't yet, submit a feedback. At least then might be on the Apple radar. Maybe.
