Reminding me when I leave home works pretty well.

But there are places which for some reason don't have a correct address in Maps, so it doesn't works with the Reminders app location option.

For example, part of my work involves going to a new residential development, which doesn't appears in Google Maps.

It would be nice if the location was a geo-location based on a selection on the Maps application, and not an address in your contacts.

I think most people agree with you. It would be nice to be able to just stick a pin in the Maps app where I want the notification.

Oh well, maybe it will be implemented later on.

I agree, but for now you can go to the maps app drop a pin, create a contact and then use it in notifications. Not ideal but I works. Thats how I added my grocery store.

For some reason it didn't work for me.

I selected the work location, and it created an address just putting the City, State, Country. So it didn't work.:(

I have to say I was disappointed to see that reminders only lets u pick Contacts address as the location. If I want to set a reminder for when I am nearby a location I should be able to pick it on the map.. I hope this comes in the next update. I really wont use the location part of reminders until then.

I also wish you could set a location for an entire list, like if I had a grceries list.
