Reminders pushing to Calendar

Is there something you have to do to set this up? For example, I told Siri "remind me to call so-and-so on the 11th." It set up a reminder, but nothing is in my calendar.

i know it's on the reminders app, but it seems like it should also appear on my calendar. it would certainly be nice.

arent they two different things? if you want a calender event, just say that instead?

no, that would be redundant. Why would you want a reminder and a calendar appointment for a phone call? If you want an appointment on the calendar I assume you could tell it to add that instead of a reminder.

yeah i would rather have reminders as little short tasks i need to do throughout the day. i don't want it sitting there for months. i tried creating an event, but it didn't understand and when i said october 25th it said "cannot create events in the past" or something like that..makes no sense. i'll try it again..

can you try saying something like "Next Thursday"? Did you say the year?
