Rather new to the iPhone so maybe this is a silly question, but I'm not sure. I want to create reoccurring reminders that always occur on certain days, but when I tried this the first time it didn't reoccur (as far as I know).

It's possible that I just didn't hear the reminder alarm at the time, but after fiddling around with it a bit it seems like you have to manually check the completed box before it will create a new reminder for the next day. Is that how the built in reminders app works? Should I look for a different app that will continuously remind regardless of whether I completed the first reminder?

If you use the iCloud calendar, you can set up an event to repeat as often as you want with as many reminders (of different times) as you want. Also, you can create a number of color-coded calendars (ex: home, work, family events). You can have all or any combination of these separate calendars show up in the calendar app.

This may not totally answer your question re: reminders app, but this does work well. Just not gps activated.

Would someone please tell me how to imput data in the iPhone 4 Reminders app? No amount of tapping brings up a keyboard, and I see no button for editing or adding info. Many thanks for your help.

Something must be wrong with your phone because and soon as i goto reminders and tap + a keyboard pops up

Maybe restore your phone, and dont restore your back up. First try and see if it works

Try fully quitting the app and restarting using the multitasking bar (home button, double-tab home button, hold icon until wiggles, select red minus, then restart Reminders)

Reminders App

Thanks to those who offered suggestions on the problem with my iPhone 4 Reminders app. An Apple tech-support person had me try turning on the iCloud function for the app in Settings, and that instantly brought up the missing + button on the Reminders screen. The technician said more exploratory tweaking would be necessary to get Reminders to work outside of iCloud, but I'm happy with this fix.
