Reminders still not syncing between iPhone and Mac

As the title says, several years in and something so simple still hasn't been fixed. If I complete a reminder or add a new one on my iPhone, it doesn't cut across to my Mac unless I open the app on the Mac and close it again.

Is syncing between iPhone and Mac working for anyone?

Come on Apple, is it that difficult a fix!

Seems to be syncing fine here on Sequoia and iOS 18.

You sure both are logged in to iCloud properly and all the sync settings are enabled?

Have you tried it both ways? Mark as completed on iPhone and then check on Mac and then the other way round?

I'm definitely signed in on both devices.

Yep... seems to work fine both ways.

I'm going to look into this tomorrow. It's been so long since they've synced that I think I might have the wrong settings.
