Reminders sync with iCloud

Having some issues with ML syncing reminders with iPhone. When I create or delete a reminder in ML it does not sync with my iPhone until I open the reminders app on the iPhone. Just today I deleted a reminder on ML and it still gave me a notification on the iPhone but not on my macbook pro.

This seems similar to @me mail that does not sync unless the mail app is opened on the iOS device. Is not iCloud supposed to sync in the background without user intervention?

Make sure you have the "iCloud" highlighted all time. Don't worry it took me a couple of wee=ks to notice that and that made me feel a little silly.

??? Not sure what you mean. Are you talking about in the iCloud preferences on the Mac? Please explain in more detail.

I have the same issue. I think it's the way iCloud is. I'm not sure what the above poster is referring to since iCloud is the only account I have reminders on and I don't see an option to highlight iCloud. Maybe I'm missing something?

I agree with your assessment. We know iCloud mail doesn't sync with iOS devices unless you open the mail app. Only way to be sure you have the reminder set is to open the app on the iPhone. BAD!
