I loved controlling my old mac's system audio (and other apps) using the old apple remote control:
But I bought a brand new iMac (which is fantastic!). Sadly the new iMac's don't have an infrared censor, thus the remote no longer works. I know I can control iTunes from my iPhone using Apples Remote app, but I'm looking for a much simpler solution.
Is there a jailbreak tweak that would allow me to assign activator actions (or maybe a lockscreen tweak) to easily control the Macs system volume and send the other basic remote control messages all from my iPhone? Something simple that sends those commands over WiFi or Bluetooth?
Thanks a lot!
