Hey. So I have an update sitting in the Mac App Store for Apple's Remote Desktop Client app. However I don't think I even have that app. I can't find it anywhere on my Mac so I'm wondering why I'm even getting an update for it. Is there a way to find out and remove the update from the list?

now i see it

ARD client is part of the OS. ARD Administrator is software you can buy from Apple to remotely control a mac. It's really cool and super easy to use.
If you're not using ARD and it isn't being used to administer your computer, you don't need to download the update.

Not sure where ARD client resides deep in the bowels of the OS. Ignore it.

I log in and screen share my 10.9.5 mini computer via my 10.11 computer. I updated the ARD client and it broke the screen sharing. It connects but is so slow I mostly get pixillation. Dunno how to revert easily.

Screen share works flawlessly from the ARD client working on my 10.9.5 laptop, so its got to be something about 3.9.2.... :(
