This is sort of a unique question. I recently bought a 20" LCD for my MB. I have a dell laptop across the room that I do all my development on.

That PC is using Windows XP Home, so I don't have the remote desktop capabilities. I would like to be able to connect to that PC from my Mac and do my development from the comfort of my computer desk.

I've tried PC Anywhere using the PC as the host and wasn't satisfied. I couldn't change the resolution the remote connection opened up in and I wasn't really that happy with the speed (I'm on a small home network with only 2 computers - relatively low latency).

Anyone have any suggestions here?

Thanks!

Wrong - there is a client you can download to make it work for Windows too.

No, good sir, I'm afraid that it is you who is wrong. :D

That's the client for Microsoft Remote Desktop, we are talking about Apple Remote Desktop. The OP clearly stated that he/she is running XP Home (does not support MRD).

On tigerdirect.com you cab get an OEM copy of XP Pro for $140. Still more than leopard will be and its sorta outdated  :p but definately better than the original price of $300 for the boxed set.
