Remote desktop

Hi,

I've got two iMacs at two offices, and I'd like to work from just one desktop.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to use files from my main iMac, work on them and save them to that Mac from another office.

Is this possible, and what software should I use. I've looked a few and the options differ. More affordable options are appreciated as some of the subscriptions are quite hefty.

Based on what you have given as requirements...
I would just store the docs in Dropbox and work on them from either computer and not worry about it
