If I rent a movie on iTunes and transfer to Apple TV, the Remote App does not have an option to show rented movies. Am I missing something - this seems to be a no brainer function? I haven't tested this if the movie is rented directly on Apple TV. I would love to be done with the silly little white remote forever. Thanks!

Me too!

Same problem here! Sounds like the guys at apple were having a blonde moment!

I rented a movie last night direct from the :apple:TV and can confirm it does not show up on the remote app!!!!

There's a lot of things the Remote app doesn't do. You can't navigate to YouTube, for example, or Settings, or Photos or Movie Trailers. I've been using the app for a while, and I've wondered why it's as limited as it is. Might be because they couldn't find a way to incorporate all those things into the interface, but that doesn't seem likely to me. Maybe in future updates...
