I’ve been using remote home access with my house to open the garage door and such for a couple years but after the iOS 16 update it no longer works. On Wi-Fi everything is normal. I have a HomePod mini that functions as the hub.
I have changed nothing else and have double checked that remote access is indeed functional. Has anyone else experienced this?

Ran into this same exact issue yesterday.

Only difference is that I am using an Apple TV as a hub to access accessories outside of my network.

Like you all settings checked out and the only way I resolved it unfortunately was to reset the Apple TV and set it up from scratch. After doing that and logging into iCloud on the Apple TV then it worked.

Hwelp, I reset the HomePod and readded it and no luck.

But I also have an AppleTV and lo and behold, resetting and logging back in did the trick…

Thank you for the tip!
