Remote PC from phone?

I'm using a windows PC and I'm looking for an app to remote control my PC from my phone? My phone is iPhone 7 plus and my PC is a basic desktop running windows 10. Looking for being able to access my PC from on the go when I'm out and about.

Just looking to open and close files and folders/ check on my downloads and be able to shutdown the PC.

Any suggestions would be great.

TeamViewer works...but not after you shutdown the PC!
