Just wondering about the Remote app.

I have an Apple TV connected through an ethernet cable, I can still use my iPod Touch as a Remote right?

Also, if one of the computers in the house was using the Apple TV as AirTunes speakers, would I be able to use the Remote application to control music? The computer doesn't have WiFi, so it's using an ethernet connection.

Thanks! :)

I have my Apple TV connected via Wireless but my MacPro is connected via ethernet. The Apple TV syncs with the MacPro and the remote sees it. So I'm gonna say yes the remote will control an Apple TV if it is connected to the LAN via ethernet.

I think I found the solution, but if my iTunes wasn't broken (see here) I would have it working.

I read that you can have the AppleTV and everything connected via Ethernet, just the iPod Touch/iPhone must be connected via Wi-Fi and have the same router address as the other computer. Something like that. ;)
