Remote v McAfee Firewall (Round 233524)

OK so the only way that I can get Remote to work is to disable McAfee Firewall Plus from their altest McAfee release, this is after 2 hours of tech support form them and a lot of playing by me:

OS: Win XP 32bit SP3
iTunes v8
iPhone 3G v2.2
WiFi connection 802.11b/g

Things already done:
Local network is TRUSTED
TCP & UDP ports added to McAfee and Windows firewall
All .exe for iTunes added to exception list and given full access
Ensured IP address of both devices (iPhone & PC) stay same

With the firewall ON I can pair the remote no issue I just cannot find the library afterwards....

Scary part is that if I disable the McAfee firewall connect remote (works great, a fantastic app for when I am playing games!) and then enable the firewall again it remains operational, the firewall does not invoke the same configuration and allows the application to continue running!!!!!

Any help/advice/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Get rid of McAfee and save money and go to Zone Alarm Firewall...Free; AVG or AVAST for your Anti-Virus and then you will never have problems again.
McAfee and Norton are money grabbing bloatware that hogs tons of resources and gives you the problems your having. Norton wiped out my moms Book Keeping records...since moving to AVG she has never had another problem. Make sure you back up if you remove McAfee...It could rip .dll files and others out of programs when removed.

Thanks SFC but...

this does not really help my problem...

I actually like McAfee, 4 years and not one virus.... Never caused me an issue until now, I do not want to go into the pros and cons of which firewall provider I really want to see if anyone else has solved this issue and can help me...

This worked for me, after enabling ports 3689 and 5353, port 3389 did the trick

TCP port 3389 is commonly used by the Remote Assistance/Remote Desktop (Terminal Server) service or program. Microsoft Remote Assistance/Remote Desktop in Windows XP or Terminal Server requires this port to be open to allow connections to your computer. To allow Remote Assistance/Remote Desktop (Terminal Server) to communicate freely across the Internet or LAN, open port 3389.

Solution
Allow Traffic on Port 3389
Right-click the McAfee icon by your system clock.
Click Personal Firewall.
Click Utilities.
Click System Services tab.
Click Add.
Put a checkmark next to Remote Assistance / Terminal Server (RDP) Port 3389.
Click OK and close all Personal Firewall windows.
