My mac downloaded the installer for the new 10.14.3 update on my work macbook, but I can't do the update yet and I want to remove the downloaded installer.

I can see the files in Library/Updates but when I throw them in the trashcan I get an error saying I don't have permissions to delete them.

Does anyone know of a way to remove the downloaded installers from my system?

That folder is SIP protected in Mojave. You'll need to boot into recovery and either delete the files from terminal there or turn off SIP, boot back into Mojave and then delete the files, then go back into recovery and turn SIP back on.
