iPhone Remove all 'Slide to...' Commands on Lockscreen?

I have a 'Slide to unlock' text killer theme that i use in Winterboard but it doesn't remove every 'Slide to...' command.

Does anyone know of one that does or do you have the springboard strings that do that i could maybe borrow?

This is the best way! To elaborate, go to the Lockscreen section and use a custom string for the text. Use a space, it'll make every "slide to" command blank.

I don't like paying for things I can do myself for free. It takes the fun out of it.

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/SpringBoard.strings

This is how we've done it for YEARS before springtomize came out.

Springtomize 2 gave me some weird errors last time i used it so uninstalled it.


Hackthatphone, i was trying that last night in var/stash/applications/mobiletimer to remove the 'slide to stop alarm' but it didn't work.

I'll try where you said though.

Putting 'ALARM_LOCK_AWAY' = ' '; in
/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/SpringBoard.strings
don't work as it was showing the var/stash/applications/mobiletimer way as i had left a dot there instead of nothing,as leaving it blank just shows 'ALARM_LOCK_AWAY' instead of 'slide to stop alarm'.

To remove 'slide to reply' edit this string like so

/System/Library/BulletinBoardPlugins/SMSBBPlugin.bundle/en_GB.lproj/SMSBBPlugin.strings/"FULL_REPLY" = " ";

To remove 'slide to stop alarm' edit this string like so

/var/stash/Applications/MobileTimer.app/en_GB.lporj/Localizable.strings/"ALARM_LOCK_LABEL" = " ";

Sorry to resurface this thread but I see where this is but I am using LS 266 (from Cydia) and even though I removed the text as mentioned above the text is still there. Suggestions?

I've gone in and edited the SpringBoard.strings file and was able to change the 'slide to unlock' and 'slide to power off' but for some reason I can not change the 'slide to answer'. I can change the text in the file but when the phone rings, it still has 'slide to answer' there. Does anyone know why?
