Hello
My iPhone SE 64G died last week. I have a backup but only on my computer via iTunes (no iCloud backup). I would like to wait for the Xr instead of buying an Xs now.
Someone give me an old iphone 6... and only 16G of storage: I can't restore my itunes backup to this iphone.
So my question is: is there anyway to remove stuff (like photos etc) from my iTunes backup on my Mac to shrink this backup in order to put it on the 16G iphone?
Second question: If not, can I restore (or recover) only my contacts and my calendar from my iTunes backup?
Thanks for your help :)

iPhone backup either via iTunes on your computer or iCloud is an all or nothing affair. There's no way to sift through a backup and extract only the things you want. It's not like Time Machine.
The giant monster in the backup that takes up all the space is the photos & videos. They make the backup unwieldy.
