Hi,
i can say that i'm pretty still new MacOS user and Apple devices in total.

i use Mac Mini m1 2021 with last BigSur update,

i was need to use my external drive that based on NTFS , i read that i can use serval 3rd party apps, so i install Textura NTFS (https://ntfsformac.tuxera.com/)

after i uninstall the app because it's not help to my drive - i delete all the traces i could find.

BUT i still see some option from the app inside my mac disk utility when i choose to erase some usb hdd :

9D915340-1127-46DB-86F2-1A2FC250355D_1_201_a.jpeg

why it's still there if i delete all the app?

i tried to follow some things i found like:
sudo kextcache --clear-staging
but seems after reboot it's back.

There is any way to get rid of it?

Thanks!

You didn't mention how you "uninstalled" the app, but using that word implies that it came with an Uninstaller, which you used. If that's the case, you used the best option, which gets most of the pieces, but could leave a few behind. The left behind pieces usually do not present a real problem, but you're objecting to seeing traces of a deleted app, embedded in a menu.

You could try deleting com.apple.systemuiserver from your ~/UserName/Library/Preferences folder. Then Restart.

That plist file contains Menu items, and the Restart will then restore it, and it will have only the default items in it.

Thank you Gregg2,
i uninstall it as always from the application menu - 'move to trash' -- it's wrong?
i will try to delete the file you mention,
hope to update soon as possible.

Thanks again

Great! I assume that means you deleted that plist file and restarted.

Your method of removing an app is not wrong, as it is sometimes the only option the developer has given. Not all apps come with an Uninstaller, but for those that do, that is the best way.
