Remove folder from my desktop

just sorted out my MacBook documents and now have a folder on my desktop that wasn’t there before.
I do like to have a clear desktop.
any help Please.

What's it called? What did you do? Updating from Mojave will create a folder on desktop.. I forget what's called. Moved Items or something...something to do with the migration from Mojave or below to Catalina or above...

If you do CMD-I with the folder highlighted: when was it created?, and is it locked / strange ownership?
if all is quite normal - rename the folder to something else and put it in documents if it contains things you need, or delete it otherwise.

This does seem an odd question!
