Hi All,

I did a restore and all went well. Everything looks back to stock EXCEPT I still have the different battery monitor & modified carrier name.

So - I entered DFU mode, by holding the buttons - getting the proper message - etc, and after that restore completed I STILL have the different battery monitor & modified carrier name.

So - how do I get rid of all of that are have it back to stock Apple/AT&T stuff?

Thanks!

You will have to restore your iphone and set it up as a new iphone. Do not restore from a backup.

Thanks for that bit of info!

Before I do that I have some quick and rather dumb questions. How does it get activated and set up with my phone number then? Is that part of the process? Then after its set up I just sync over my contacts, music etc... Correct?

It gets set up with your phone number after it reads off your SIM card.
And yes, just sync your music and contacts after. :D
