I have no lock bars for my lock screen and this removes the background for forecast that I use for my lock screen

Is there some like this for NC widgets ? I am using Dashboard X to display Forecast on the springboard, it has a background on it that I'd like to remove. There is a replace background toggle, but it doesn't remove the back ground entirely.

Thanks in advance.

Take a look here. I followed the instructions at the very bottom (/system/library/weeappplugins/WeatherNotifications.bundle). Has not come back on respring. But you may have luck with the other instructions.

I think the difference being that the instructions at the top remove the backgroundf for all widgets while as the directions at the bottom are specific to the weather widget.

EDIT: Be sure when you add the widget back using Dashboard X that you have the replace background option off. You want to use the native background of the widget, which in this case is none.

Digging up an old thread but...

Does anyone have any idea how to do this in the notification center? I have removed the nc settings backgrounds but it still appears in notification center so I'm not sure where its finding the background image. I've managed to remove the background of the music player widget I have but thats the only one.

Ideally I don't want any backgrounds on the widgets I want them to sit ontop of the nc rather than be sunk into it.
