So I do a lot of craigslist and when I search for something in the iOS mail app on my macbook a bunch or random peoples addresses come up that I dont want to see because I have no idea who they actually are. How can you remove these.

There is no iOS mail app on Macs, as iOS apps only run on iOS devices, not Mac computers. Are you referring to the Mail.app? If so, in Mail, click Window > Previous Recipients and remove anyone you don't want from that list.
