I've been ripping all my DVD's now and are at the moment writing info on them and tagging them. (they are all DVDs, not Blu Rays/HD DVDs)
(I ripped on XP - DVDFab 7 -> Handsbrake, Constant q. 15RF, ATV preset)

I use Vidalin to tag PG ratings and add actors, director. But on some of the film (even though they're all ripped the same way) Vidalin adds a HD tag.

Is it possible to manually remove this HD-tag - without damaging/remove all the other tags and info?

I have both a Mac and a XP

Pretty sure that is Apples software doing it, not Vidalin. I have videos that show on my iPad and Apple TV with the HD tag and Metax never added them, Apple does dependent on the resolution I'd imagine.

HD Vidalin Issue

This is a Vidalin issue. I have not had time to try to learn how to change the tag, so I can't advise you on that, but figured out what I think is the problem.

I think Vidalin is using video height to determine SD or HD. My experience is that any of my SD PAL (non USA/North America/Japan) DVDs which are usually between 540 and 576 pixels in height get the HD tag, while NTSC/American 480 (360 letterbox) pixels in height are tagged SD.
