I know there was a way to do this in iOS 7, is there anyway to remove the yahoo and weather.com text from the bottom of the Notification Center on iOS 8?

If you have iFile you can:

Navigate to SYSTEM/LIBRARY/WEEAPPPLUGINS/AttributionWeeApp/ open your language.lproj, open LOCALIZABLE.strings and delete The text after "ATTRIBUTION_PHONE". Then navigate back to AttributionWeeApp and rename "SiriYBangLogo". Respring. Done.

This worked on iOS 7...

Just tried on my iPhone 6 and it still works. I didn't even know that text was still present I've been using the darksky widget...
