Hey guys, like the title says. I don't download apps too terribly often, but I tried to download an app this morning and noticed it was around 200mb. It allowed me to do it over cellular just fine. Is this something new or have I missed it for awhile?

Is the install size 200MB or does it show that as the listed size in the App Store? Even if both are true, if the app is using app thinning, it might still be able to download it over cellular because the total download might be under 100MB, but the expanded size could be above 200MB.

I have noticed this for a while as well on Verizon. I have been downloading apps and app updates that were over a 100MB over cellular for a while now. Really large updates like 800 MB still will not download over cellular though. So I wonder what the limit did increase too?

No, it's more about what was described in the previous post.
