I just got a space black 14'', and mine sticks since day 3. When I touched the rubber seal, I noticed five "joints" (not sure what they're called, five tiny dents) on the top that are symmetric. I wondered if that was the cause and did a replacement at Apple, but still the same. So I am assuming that this is a common issue...

Yeah, I did, and the new one is much better. The previous one was very annoying, began to stick within 10 minutes, and was immediately confirmed by the genius bar guy. Also confirmed that the joints in my original post have nothing to do with the issue.
