Removing a signature from a pdf?

after going to markup mode and selecting the plus sign I added a signature to a pdf file and now I’m unable to move it or delete it. How is this done?

Without testing for myself I would assume one of two ways.

1: Tapping on the signature may bring up a delete option (similar to how if you add an arrow or shape in markup you get a delete and duplicate options)

2: Using the eraser tool. Selecting the eraser tool and tapping on the signature.

i tried this out on my system, and it works, assuming that the PDF was Saved at least 1 time before you saved it finally with the signature:

1 open the PDF in Preview
2 File/Revert/Browse Previous Versions
3 the previous saved state of the PDF should be able to be recovered
