Removing address suggestions in Apple Maps

Hi! I’m doing some cleaning up and have been trying to remove addresses from being suggested Apple Maps.

There are some addresses in Apple Maps which appear in the Search box whenever I start typing part of the addresses. These come up as “Siri found in Messages” suggestions, along with the “Green” message symbol.

I have even deleted the actual text Messages of that contain Addresses and Maps still suggest those “Siri found in Messages” box. I have also cleared my Recent History in Apple Maps.

Any ideas how I can remove these Address suggestions? Thanks.

You could try turning off the Siri & Search options in Settings for Maps, even temporarily might help. It's a hard thing to test so I can't guarantee that will work completely for your scenario.

If I turn this off temporarily, am I able to turn it on again eventually after a few weeks or is turning it off the ‘fix’/workaround?

Surely there are others here who are in the same boat hahah

Yes, you can turn it back for sure. My thought was toggling it might reset its address list. I keep all of those Siri & Search settings off for Maps (and other apps), so I don't experience the problem you're describing.

By the way, what’s weird is that even before applying the changes above, these suggestions only appear on my iPhone. On my iPad Pro, Maps doesn’t suggestion those “Siri found in Messages” addresses..
