In OS X Mountain Lion is there a way to tell TextEdit not to have iCloud always be the default save location when saving a text file for the first time? I'd like to be able to set it to a specific folder or set it to default to the last saved location. Thanks!

This one annoys me as well. Why in the heck would I want iCloud to be the default save location for almost everything? I would imagine this is something that can be addressed in some plist file and perhaps somebody's already produced an Applescript to fix this. In this one regard, Dropbox works better for me than iCloud. It appears as a folder under my home folder, not as something for me to stumble over every time I choose to save a file.
