Hi all,

When I set-up iCloud I took the option of using my Apple ID to set-up iCloud, this in turn made me create an @me.com email address. Now when I log into iTunes I can use either xxx@me.com or my usual xxx@hotmail.co.uk to log in.

I am just wondering if there is anyway to make my xxx@me.com completely seperate from my Apple ID, so I can only log into iTunes with xxx@hotmail.co.uk and only log into iCloud with xxx@me.com?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd love an answer to this as well. iCloud has been a real pain for me and this is one of the reasons

Hi JAmes,

The way to have separate e-mails for iTunes and iCloud is easy.

On your idevice, go to settings and set your iCloud to your x@me.com email.
Also in settings, change/make sure your "store" settings is set to your other account.

This allows you to have iTunes to be different from iCloud. On your Mac or in iTunes go to the 'store' and sign in with your email (apple id) that you want.

Now you're good to go.

Cheers,
Eric
