I installed Cydia and Installer when I jailbreaked my iPhone and have used Installer once, and now want it gone. Is there a way I can remove it without having to make a new custom ipsw with pwnage? I have SSH so I can remove installer.app from the iPhone, I was just wondering if there were any other files I should remove that may be in other folders, thanks in advance.

P.S: I did search through to see if this had been answered before and couldn't find anything, if I missed something, cut me some slack it's 2:33 AM

In your opinion, is why is Cydia much better then Installer?? I'm gonna Jailbreak later on today and was wondering if I would need both on my phone... or not.

Cydia has been on 2.0 longer which means it's more developed. Installer is still in beta, I think, and I keep getting an error "file not found" when I look up at all the packages. No such problems with Cydia and you don't have to reboot when you install a package. I'd only get Cydia

I hate installer.app. All it has done since I jailbroke my phone 2 days ago is crash it and get it stuck in an endless reboot loop. Anyone have answers to how to get rid of this without restoring?

I'm assuming that's using ssh? I used to ssh into my old school's server to access my computer programming assignments, but I've never used it to access the iphone. I'm sure I can figure it out though.

Thanks!

If you dont have wifi, i suggest using idisk, iphone browser, or total commander with the ipod plugin to navigate your root.
