Does anyone have any tips for an easy way to remove old photos and videos from iMessage. They take up significant space. I would like to have access to them in Photos, but have them stored in the cloud. I see that they can be saved individually, but i would like to move them in bulk. Thanks all!

Not exactly what your after, but if you press on a conversation, then press on the name bubble up there top, press info, scroll down to show all photos, press select, select and then save or delete. You can also bulk delete photos or videos in all messages from the settings app under storage.

Make sure to make a backup first.

P.S. Alternatively you could try plugging your device into a computer and use a transfer app like Iexplorer by macroplant (?) and export all files from messages.

It’s not really a bulk delete under Settings though. There’s no select all function. Each photo has to be selected individually to save into Photos and then deleted. You can individually select each one and then delete the whole list, but you can’t save them into Photos this way.
