Removing Picture Bubble at the top of Imsg chat?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to remove the circular bubble picture of your contact IN an imessage chat?

I know that the pictures show up when looking at all chats, which is fine. But when in a messaging thread it also appears at the top with a big circular picture and the persons name.

I feel like thats just a huge waste of space on the screen rather than just having the name like in IOS9.

Does anyone know how we can or if we can remove this?

I was wondering this too - not because I think it's a waste of space but because my OCD can't handle it when I don't have pictures for my contacts.

No controls over that currently.

Haven't been able to find a way to do this - one can remove the pictures in the general chat list, but the bubbles remain in individual conversations.

I too hope there's eventually a fix for this or to at least make it an option. You'd think no contact pictures means just that.

Yeah I just find it an immense waste of screen space for reading more messages....
