I'm sure this has been discussed before but how can I get ride of old apps that I no longer need or want from showing up in my app store. I've had so many apps since my iPhone 3GS that I have discontinued using over the years that I would rather remove from my app store purchased list. Is there an easy way to get rid of them?

Same here!

I have tons of apps I will never look at again. I can see where they might have problems with permanently deleting apps, but it should be easy to sort them into categories like email -- An "ignore" category to get them off and out of the way from your "active" list.

I believe they could be hidden from the list, but not completely gotten rid of essentially.

There is a delete option in iTunes.

I wonder how much trouble comes from someone accidentally deleting apps ... or does delete just been hide?
