Hi;

In an attempt to find a way of transferring data from my HTC One M8 phone to my Mac I downloaded and installed 'Adroidfiletransfer.dmg'

It opened the normal drag the icon to the Applications Icon window but when I look for it it is nowhere to be found.

I have hidden files and folders showing?

I want to get rid of it but cannot find it?

Thanks for any help

If you have windows installed on your Mac, you can try to spot where that ".app" folder is. Or better yet, you have third party drivers to support read write of Mac partition, you can even delete that ".app" folder in windows.

Download the free utility called "EasyFind".

If the file in question is still there, that should find it...

You don't need that. I have this application installed on two machines (Mavericks and El Capitan). If it did copy over Spotlight will find it. If spotlight returns no result, it most likely didn't install.
