is it possible to remove those two apps since i have no use of them. i know i can remove it via ssh, but i'm a little afraid.

anyway, i know i can hide those with sbsettings, but i think libhide is a mobile substrate which is making a little impact on battery life if it's running and i prefer not to use it.

thanks.

I would personally just use SBSettings. Other than what you listed I don't think there's any other way.
