Hello, I recently decided to get rid of my windows partition. I didn't realize that there's a utility built into the Boot Camp Assistant to remove it. I booted up my OS X Leopard install disk, opened the Disk Utility, and deleted the partition through there. I then extended my OS X volume over the newly free space. However, when I boot into OS X, it does not show the extra space that was added from the windows partition. It still reports only 60 gigs dedicated to the OS X volume. Is there anyway to fix this? I've tried multiple things but I haven't been able to get it working. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, you shouldn't have removed it that way you should have opened the boot camp assistant and removed the windows partition from there.

Save all your files in another HD or burn DVD.
Insert Leopard DVD pressing "C" letter
Select Macintosh HD on Startup Disk
Install Leopard.
Remember; this install will erase all your files of your previous installation.
I did it and now I'm very patient waiting for a Bootcamp update that soon Apple will have to release, because of thousands of users frustrated and screwed.
A NEW INSTALLATION OF BOOTCAMP IN LEOPARD IS A FAILURE.
It only works if you had installed before Bootcamp 1.3beta in MacOs 10.4 (Tiger).
Have a nice day!
