Removing Windows

I am new mac user and I have not tried installing windows. I have read all the wikis and understood the procedures. I have some questions below. Please answer if you can:

1. If I installed windows using VM Fusion, Can I remove it from my mac partition and reclaim the space ?

2. Can I do the same while using bootcamp ?

3. Can I install Ubuntu Linux (same as Windows) either using VM fusion or bootcamp ?

Can anybody reply ? I want to try windows but at the same time don't want to waste my space if I can't reclaim it back.
