Hi guys,

Forgive if this is obvious but I'm very new to Macs (24hrs! ) . I installed Windows via Bootcamp in less than an hour with no problems at all (can see all the fuss about "it just works" now) and it works like a charm, if a little hot compared to OS X.

Anyhoo, in OS X the partition is shown as "untitled". I've tried to rename it by going into "get info" but it's just greyed out. Is there any way to rename it? Do I have to do it when in Windows or should I have done something when creating the partition?

Sorry if this is just me dumb and thanks in advance. :)

Boot to windows, and rename the C: drive.

I'll add that the reason you have to do this is the windows mount under OSX has only read capability and no write capability. Changing the drive name requires write.

I can't stop looking at that cat avatar! It's hypnotizing.

I totally agree. It also makes me happy, even though I've had a sh*t day.
