I was on another thread that addressed this issue, but it seems to have gone dead. I'm starting a new thread here. First off, I'm an IT Professional who started in IT 48 years ago before Apple and Microsoft even existed (yeah, I'm dating myself ;)). It's just in-comprehensible that Apple developers wouldn't include the ability to rename a watch face after 7 series ( I'm on 45mm series 7). I use many different watch faces with different complications and have shortcuts with personal automation's depending on time of day (e.g. workout, bedtime, etc.). When you go to pick the watch face, they are all named the same (e.g. "Meridian"). You would think you'd have the ability to long-press a watch face and rename it or at least clone a watch face template (e.g. Meridian) and name it something like "Meridian-Workout" or "Meridian-Sleep", but to no avail. I've submitted a feature request to Apple Development at https://www.apple.com/feedback and hopefully the more people who request it, they will provide that feature. I'm currently on watchOS 8.3. Let me know your thoughts.
