Things To-Do To Change AppStore App's Name:

- Go into iTunes
- Go to the Applications you have already downloaded
- Right Click the App you want to change and click "Get Info"
- Go to the "Info" tab
- Then, just change the name..

DONE!

Ah, thanks. This morning it was not letting me do that.
Nevermind. I click on "get info" and it shows up, but it doesnt let me change anything. The whole screen is "blocked" and sort of greyish.

Trying to change the "Movies.app" to "Movies"
Dumb on the developer's part to add the .app

Try right-clicking and then showing the file in finder. Re-name that file and I believe that will be the name that shows up on your iPhone screen. The Super Monkey Ball file-name in iTunes is Super Monkey Ball but the file name in Finder is "Monkey Ball.ipa" and Monkey Ball is what shows up on the iPhone.
 
I tried that but when I go to iTunes it won't let me click on any apps that I have purchased/downloaded.
