Rent on ATV2 / Watch on Mac... not possible?

I rented and watched an HD movie last night on my Apple TV2. Is there any way that I can watch that movie on my Mac now within the 24 hour rental window?

The movie is still available for viewing on my ATV2, but I can't see any record of the rental in iTunes whatsoever.

While I got the Receipt from the iTunes Store and was billed for it under my normal iTunes account, the rental doesn't show up in my iTunes account purchase history.

No. This was widely publicized. However u can rent in iTunes to watch on ios devices and also stream to your apple tv all assuming your within your time limits
