I am going to be taking my iPhone X in due to a display issue and a battery issue. Do you think they will replace the display and battery or just give me a refurbished device? I’m asking because I dropped my phone and have a blemish on the stainless steel. A replacement would be nice

Every store will vary, it really depends on if you request a replacement or not, which they may or may not grant the request. However, being that it’s display and battery issue, those are both easily replaceable in store, which is likely what they will do.

Apple is more into repairing these days. They are not as fast at replacement if they can avoid it.

I would suggest a iTunes encrypted backup before heading to the Apple store, just in case.
