Using my iPhone6S+ for 2months now and a display dimming issue has appeared. The dim though does not seem to cover the whole display but only a part of it as seen in the picture attached.
How is it decided if the iPhone will go for a screen repair or a total device replacement?

Looks like the backlight is broken, could be just a loose cable, but on the other hand could be logic board or LCD......need to have it checked out.

Also i cannot hear any sound when typing the number code to unlock the phone.

I don't know why it matters, u not gonna let Apple handle it? u maybe wo your phone for a period.

well its a shame to open the phone and fix it and not replace it with a brand new one, its a two month phone!
