Im curious how many people here have needed a repair on an M1 Mac since owning it due to manufacturer defect?

No issues since Feb.

You are not likely to get any statistically significant responses here, but if you just want some anecdotes and chat, I guess this will work.

I’ve had mine almost a year now. My M1 air has excellent build quality and I’m a very happy camper. My M1 iMac is only 6 months old but also awesome with no issues whatsoever. I only have two data points to go on, but in my experience every Mac since the unibody era started (2008) has been extremely reliable. I may be the only person on the planet who never had a single issue with those butterfly keyboards.

I have two M1 Airs, one 12 months old, one 9 months old. No issues. I am also quite active in a few forums and have not picked up on any issues.
I may be the second person on the planet who never had an issue with butterfly keyboards, on four different machines;)
